What is free on each series

Every series we follow uses the same rule, so it is easy to keep in mind:

• You can watch episode 1 logged in or logged out.
• Episode 2 opens after you set up a free Candy AI account.
• From episode 3 on, each episode shows a token price and remains locked until you unlock it.

With 80 series listed in this guide, that means plenty of free viewing: two full episodes of each, enough to try dozens of stories before deciding if any deserve your money.

What you get with a free account

Signing up to Candy AI is free and fast: the site's sign-up button reads "Join Free". On top of episode 2 for each series, having an account means a place to store tokens and entry to the rest of Candy AI, companion chat included. The free tier's extras outside Shorts may change, so look at the Premium page on Candy AI for the latest details.

Watching the free episodes does not require any payment details.

Why payment starts at episode 3

Episodes one and two lay the groundwork of the story: who the characters are, what situation they are in, and why things are heading somewhere complicated. The payoff of that set-up typically arrives in episode 3, and that is usually the point where explicit scenes start.

For viewers, that split is reasonable. You see enough to judge whether the story and its look appeal to you, and you only pay for the part you decided to watch.

Getting more from the free episodes

• Try lots of series. Watch episode 1 of a few titles before signing up. It is free and soon reveals which styles you like.
• Use the filters. Themes organise the Candy AI catalogue, which lets you explore a single theme or mix several.
• Check the synopsis. Each of our series pages summarises the story, saving you from openers you would not enjoy.
• Look at the New filter. Series added recently are a handy source of things you have not watched yet.
• Mind the creator series. The free pair is the same, yet later episodes cost more, so try their openers before committing.

Unsure where to begin? These four have very different moods, and like every other series each comes with two free episodes:

• The King's Chambermaid: drama at a royal court centred on a servant, listed under Fantasy and Maid.
• Lodge 69 Was Double Booked: a booking mix-up leaves two couples sharing one mountain cabin.
• Couples Therapy With Margot Vey: the story of a therapist whose involvement in a couple's marriage goes much too far.
• The Witch Who Made Me King: a sword-and-sorcery fantasy centred on a deal for a throne.

Free and paid side by side

• Free, no account needed: browsing the Shorts catalogue, using the filters, reading series descriptions and watching episode 1 of every series.
• Free with an account: all of the above, plus episode 2 of every series.
• Paid with tokens: episode 3 onward, 12 tokens each, rising to 30 each on series fronted by a creator twin.

Subtitles and player controls work the same on free and paid episodes. The free episodes are not trimmed or reduced in quality.

When you hit the first locked episode

At episode 3, you see the token price rather than the video. With tokens in your balance, unlocking it starts playback. Without them, Candy AI directs you to its ways of getting tokens, typically through the Premium screen.

No charge happens automatically at this stage. You are free to step back, try another series' free episodes and return later. Our pricing page walks through the plan screen so you can decide with full information.

Will the free episodes stay free?

So far the rule has been consistent on the series we cover, but Candy AI makes that call, not us, and platforms change their offers over time. Each series' episode list shows the current situation: free episodes start straight away, locked ones show their token price. If this page disagrees with what you see, trust the episode list.

Free trials, coupons and token generators

Searching for free Candy Shorts access turns up plenty of offers that fall apart:

• Giveaways of a "free premium account" that harvest emails and passwords.
• Coupon sites packed with ads, listing codes that never worked.
• Token generators asking you to sign in or finish a survey to "receive" tokens.
• Shared logins circulating on forums, which get locked and can expose the people using them.

Genuine promotions, if any exist, show up within Candy AI, at checkout or on the Premium screen.

Free full episodes elsewhere?

Videos posted to Dailymotion, YouTube, Telegram or adult tubes are no free substitute. They tend to be incomplete copies of the free episodes, fragments of paid ones or simply bait. Our full episodes and leaks guides describe what you really get.

Is Candy Shorts free on iPhone and Android?

The rules do not change between devices, since Candy Shorts is a browser experience on candy.ai. No mobile edition offers extra free episodes, and nothing is bought through an app store. For a home-screen icon, see our app guide, which explains how to add one.

When it is worth paying

Once you have seen a series' free episodes and want the ending, the rest costs a predictable amount: three paid episodes, which is 36 tokens on most series or 90 if a creator twin leads. Our pricing page explains tokens and plans, and how to check current prices before buying.

Free, yet still 18+ only

Being free does not make it open to all. Candy AI is a platform for over-18s, and that rule covers free episodes just as it covers paid ones. Nobody under 18 is allowed in, whether or not an episode costs tokens.
