All the while, his girlfriend is close enough to hear and keeps calling him to bed. The tone is a gentle, impish comedy of crossed wires, even if Mica may grasp a lot more than she admits.

Episode 1: First lesson, friends with benefits
The episode begins with Mica wanting to know what friends with benefits really means. Speaking over the scene, the boyfriend tells us his girlfriend wanted an exchange student and chose the one who asked interesting questions. She is late for something and asks him to help Mica get settled, so the question lands on him.
He tries to define it, two friends who sleep together without owing each other anything, and it comes out awkward. Mica likes the answer and moves on to a new word, tease, asking whether what she does counts. From the bedroom his girlfriend calls for him, and he answers that he needs a couple of minutes.
